AI consultant based in London. Founder of LLM Scout and Code Scout. I help businesses integrate AI into their workflows. I also write the notes on this site.

Background

I am an AI consultant based in London. I help businesses choose AI tools, integrate them into the workflows they already have and train their teams to use them.

I have worked in search marketing since 2008.

I am also the founder of LLM Scout. It is a platform that tracks and helps improve how brands appear in answers from AI models such as ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini and Perplexity. I founded Code Scout too. It is a free desktop AI coding agent that can run local models. On LLM Scout I am listed as Technical SEO Lead. My listed specialisms are technical SEO, structured data, site architecture and AI readiness.

In a 2026 interview I described my focus as helping businesses understand and adapt to the shift from traditional search to AI-driven discovery.

Projects

LLM Scout
A platform I founded that tracks how brands appear in answers from AI models. Its data is behind my note on how four AI assistants answer the same question.
Code Scout
A free desktop AI coding agent, made by LLM Scout and currently in alpha, that can run local models.
AI Scraper
An open-source Python tool (MIT licence) that runs a batch of prompts against Perplexity or ChatGPT and saves the answers with their citations. Anyone using it needs to check those services' terms first.
AI Visibility API
Open-source documentation, integration guides and code examples (MIT licence) for the LLM Scout Brand Intelligence API, with integrations for n8n, Make.com and Claude.

What this site covers

This site is about artificial intelligence for people who make business decisions. It explains how the models and agents work and what regulation requires and when. It also shows how to read AI claims sceptically. It does not cover search optimisation. That has a site of its own. See how I work for the full list of sites I own.

Start with the notes or the reading list of primary sources.

Why I write about it

My view is that most business decisions about AI are made on second-hand information. That means a vendor's launch post, a headline or a slide. The primary documents are public and usually clearer than the coverage of them. I mean the regulation itself, the protocol specification and the research paper. Few people have time to read them.

These notes are my attempt to do that reading in the open and show the working. I run companies that sell marketing and AI visibility services. I also offer AI consulting through this site. So I have a commercial interest in this field. That interest is disclosed on the how I work page. It is one reason every claim here links to a source you can check without trusting me.

Working with me

I work as an AI consultant with businesses that want AI built into their day-to-day work. There are three services. The first is an AI audit and strategy. The second is AI implementation. The third is training and workshops. I do not train or build custom machine learning models. I help businesses choose, integrate and use existing AI tools.

The work with me page sets out each service, the process and how to request a free 30-minute discovery call.
